This is an impressive Victorian home in the town of Martinez, CA. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places

Sea Captain John Tucker and his wife Mary built this grand Victorian mansion circa 1877. Though other homes in Martinez would qualify, this is the only one that has actually been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Location: 110 Escobar Street. Owners: Joey and Linda Piscitelli.

A 1923 Craftsman home in Martinez, California.

By the time this home was constructed in 1923, the Craftsman bungalow had evolved out of the Arts & Crafts movement. This home is a beautifully restored example of a Craftsman home. Location: 724 Talbart Street. Owner: Marc Hunter.

A Victorian house in Martinez, built in 1883.

This Victorian home is believed to have been built downtown in 1883. It was moved to its present location in 1916. It was originally a wedding present from the City Attorney and his wife to their son and his new bride. Present location: 634 Talbart Street. Owners: Dick and Carolyn Duncan.

This home was built in 1916, towards the end of the Arts & Crafts period (1880 to 1920). It has unique late Art Nouveau porch pillars, a beautiful Craftsman interior, and expansive views of Carquinez Strait. Location: 1251 Escobar Street. Owners: Bradley and Jennifer Jackson.

A 1906 Arts & Craft home in Martinez, California.
This home was built in 1906 and is an excellent example of Arts & Craft architecture. The shingles would originally have been stained, but are today painted a muted green. The interior retains almost all its original period details. In addition, the views of Carquinez Strait are magnificent. Location: 1310 Marina Vista. Owners: Mark and Kate Halfon.

A 1912 Craftsman home with a 2nd floor addition in Martinez, California.
This interesting house was built in 1912. It combines several home styles but the tapered porch pillars and the trianguler knee braces under the eaves are staples of the Craftsman homes built during the 1900 to 1930 period. Location: 1234 Ward Street. Owners: Randy and Naomi Wilson.
